Nothin’Special Radio returns with a new mix by our good friend DJ IKKEI ( @koolcuts ) all the way from Osaka, Japan. IKKEI blesses Vol.04 with a jazzy, funky, soulful all vinyl set featuring the likes of Lonnie Liston Smith, Mongo Santamaría, Miles Davis and Lenny White to name a few. Most of the records IKKEI used for this mix were found on a digging trip right here in NY.

Back in Osaka, IKKEI also runs a second hand music store called ISANDLA ( @isandlajpn ) selling records, cassettes, CDs and all kinds of audio gear. If you’re ever around the way, go check it out and tell him we sent you.
